"Among the key strengths of Birmingham are its rich variety of people and the fact that it is so well connected (something that will only improve with projects such as HS2)."
Claire Burrows (32) is an associate in the litigation and dispute resolution team at Cobbetts where she specialises in a broad range of commercial dispute work, with particular emphasis on financial services and international trust disputes. She is also a leading member of the firm's transport and infrastructure group which provides tailored advice to clients within this sector.
She moved to Birmingham in 2001 after completing her law degree at the University of Exeter and legal practice course at the College of Law Chester. Before joining Cobbetts, Claire completed her training contract and 4 years post qualification experience with Eversheds.
In addition to her involvement with the BYPY committee, Claire is also a member of the Branded and Promoted working group for the Colmore Business District which is responsible for implementing a strategic marketing plan for the District and organising profile raising events.
In any spare time, Claire is a keen supporter of the arts, particularly the theatre. She is also a total "foodie" and loves cooking and entertaining at home.
