Clare Usher

Clare, 30, is part of the NEC Group's Marketing Services team. Working as a media relations executive she manages and delivers corporate pubic relations for the NEC venue and Amadeus, the Group’s catering business. She also supports the Group's corporate communications and is involved in projects such as HS2 and Resorts World at the NEC.

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in marketing and public relations, she took a year out to backpack around the World before beginning her career in public relations with an agency specialising in PR for the toy industry, driving consumer campaigns for world-renowned brands such a LEGO and Pokémon.

When not at work Clare is always looking for her next challenge and adventure – most recently scaling Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro. Never one to sit still, she regularly trains with Stratford Athletics Club and competes at various road, cross country and track and field events. She is also keen to improve in triathlons and tries to fit in swim and cycle training too.

When not racing around, Clare enjoys relaxing with a good book and cooking great food for family and friends.
