Claudia Santillo, 31, has been working in the legal recruitment field since 1999, dealing with clients throughout the UK including major international law firms, niche commercial practices, in-house departments and individuals at every level.

Claudia went from working for a niche headhunting organisation to an international recruitment consultancy where she managed a team of consultants, helping to place lawyers across the Midlands, the South West and the South East.

After winning Birmingham Young Professional of the Year’s recruitment category in 2008, Claudia joined the BYPY committee and this will be her third year helping to organise the event.

In 2009 Claudia set up Santillo Consulting, a legal recruitment consultancy which aims to provide clients with a bespoke service specifically tailored to their requirements.

When she isn’t working Claudia enjoys keeping fit by running, doing yoga and going horse riding. She also enjoys travelling and socialising with friends over good wine and food.
