Damien is a director and co founder of Altruist Medical which was set up in November 2005 to provide Consultant doctors to the NHS. Its mission is to Recruit, Develop and Support clinical staff and management to provide effective healthcare.

Altruist has provided doctors to 30 NHS Trusts all over the UK as well as the Irish Health service. Their USP is the holistic service provided to doctors which includes everything from arranging accommodation, travel, sourcing suitable schools for children, sourcing cars for doctors, tax planning & accountancy advice, work permit & HSMP provision, coaching.

Altruist Medical now employs 6 staff including the 3 directors and is looking to recruit a further 3 staff before the end of 2009.

Damien’s business career started in 1999 in I.T. Recruitment with Glotel PLC. Starting as a trainee recruitment Consultant within 18 months he became Area Sales Manager with over all responsibility for Glotel’s Birmingham office.

In 2002 he left Glotel to set up a business called DJ Academy Organisation which operates DJ training courses in several cities across the UK.
