Emmet Keating (31) is a principal at Catalyst, an award winning international corporate finance advisory firm. A graduate of Manchester University, he joined Catalyst in 2006 and recently played a major part in the team winning the Birmingham Post award for Finance and Investment team of the Year and the Insider Midlands award for Corporate Finance Advisory team of the Year. Emmet is part of the Institute of Chartered Accountants local committee, helping to organise events such as annual dinners and speaking to local school and university students about career opportunities. He is also informally mentoring a promising finance manager at a local, privately-owned business, helping him to move from a manager to director role.
 


Jonathan Myerscough (34) is associate director in the business development team at Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, responsible for developing new business in an externally-facing sales role. Jonathon first achieved his Association of Accounting Technicians qualification whilst working as a trainee accountant in Swindon. Since then, his career has progressed and he has achieved qualifications in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Assest Based Finance Association Certificate. A keen fundraiser, the last couple of years have seen Jonathan gardening for local hospices, painting walls for Barnardos and leading a team that raised £2k for The Princes Trust.
 


Anthony Pearse (30) is a chartered financial planner (consultant) at Clay Rogers & Partners Ltd., which he joined in 2010. Through his commitment to professional development and qualifications, Anthony is one of a few financial advisers in the country to gain dual status as a Certified Financial Planner with the Institute of Financial Planning in addition to Chartered and Fellowship Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). He is also a voluntary director of the ‘not for profit’ credit union organisation Communisave and has been invited to assist with the preparation and construction of future examination papers by the examination body, the CII.
