Ollie Purdom

Ollie is co-founder of Pitch Consultants, which specialises in recruitment for the marketing and creative sectors.

His clients are based throughout the UK, with a high concentration in the Midlands, and range from small creative and PR agencies to global advertising agencies, multinational companies and local SMEs.

Ollie graduated in Business Information Systems from Leicester University and began his career in marketing before moving into recruitment. He spent six years recruiting for Dutch, Belgian and Scandinavian clients and began focusing on recruitment for the creative sectors in 2003.

In March 2007 he set up Pitch Consultants, scooping the BYPY award for recruitment in 2009 and joining the BYPY committee shortly afterwards.

Ollie established Pitch in Birmingham because of the opportunities the city offers both socially and professionally and because of the level of regeneration and investment, which help the city constantly evolve.

Outside work Ollie enjoys keeping fit, snowboarding and is currently training for his first triathlon. He also makes a mean mojito.
