Hilary Allen (31) is an associate at Davis Langdon, a chartered quantity surveyor and a University of Cambridge graduate. Hilary currently works in Davis Langdon’s banking, tax and finance team, helping to manage key client accounts and assisting with the firm’s land development initiative. Hilary is a group mentor for the civic leadership programme ‘UpRising’, which is aimed at 19-25-year-olds in Birmingham. She is an active member of Birmingham Future and contributes a lot to the organisation in her role as co-ordinator for the leadership team. She has also been a part of Birmingham Future’s strategy committee.
 

Dominic Geoghegan (28) is a project manager at Turner & Townsend, advising on capital projects and programmes ranging from £1m to £100m. Originally from Burton-on-Trent, Dominic began his career as a building services engineer, starting work as soon as he had completed his A-levels. Dominic is a keen sportsman and he regularly plays football for a local team. In 2007 he cycled from Paris to Milan in aid of Cancer Research and the NSPCC, completing the 700-mile route in just six days. He was also a committee member of the Birmingham Best Practice Club (BBPC).
 

Ellie Horwitch-Smith (32) is a senior carbon management consultant at Faithful + Gould. Ellie manages a team of six dedicated energy and carbon specialists, working across a wide variety of sectors. Ellie is a member of the Birmingham Climate Change Partnership, helping to look for ways to reduce the city’s carbon impact and she participated in the development of the key focus areas for the West Midlands Knowledge Hub for Low Carbon and Sustainability. She is deputy chair of Birmingham Future’s city centre committee, helping to organise a series of successful events. She has also been involved in several charity sporting events, including the Birmingham Half Marathon.
