Having been in recruitment for 10 years – first in international markets, then in the creative sector – Ollie co -founded Pitch in April 2007, a company specialising in the creative industries offering a more consultative approach with the creative community in and around Birmingham.

Pitch has recently put together a new project called B-Hive, which invited students from Birmingham’s top universities and colleges to respond to a live PR or Design brief and present their ideas to a panel of judges from the city’s leading creative agencies. The winners were awarded a series of paid work placements at the agencies represented in judging panels, in addition to mentoring courtesy of Birmingham Future and a bespoke training course with Graduate Advantage. The plan is to develop B-Hive year-on-year and for it to become integral to helping develop the city’s future creative talent.
